Look for Buttons labeled: ... Missing .... - [Cleanup Missing Fanart]

Right, the button is only showing on the tab Music Fanart > Manage Fanart, and not on Music Thumbnails > Manage Fanart, so i assumed the button was only for Fanart and not for Thumbnails.
So the 'Cleanup Missing Fanart [c]' applies to ALL Music art? Fanart and Thumbnails? Bit confusing i have to say

The config part has stayed a little bit behind the feature enhancements. I agree with HomeY that the FH GUI is not very intuitive.
Having sad that, one is probably not going to use this very often.

True, but still it should be clear what a button does
I would have NEVER pressed that, since i thought it only applies to fanart, and that's all sorted here
The Music Thumbnails is the hard part to get fixed properly (often missing stuff) where fanart is based on the artist/group (and often excists)

But altering the (button) text a bit might help a lot. My suggestion would be to look at this when we're done adding features/fixing stuff

I agree, but I will not fix. It's one thing to move the buttons in the GUI, and another thing to prescribe all hands, for example:

This we have added one little checkbox that can not nothing but to show themselves and switch.

OK, just did my 2014 'monster scrape'
Removed all artist & albums thumbs, deleted both my music & FH dB, ran music dB import without embedded fanart and when that was done (around 4400 files, 59 artists) i fired up FH. That has been running for about an hour, and i'm checking the results now.

I already noticed that fanart.tv was missing a bunch of Thumbnails so i was already uploading (waiting for my queue to be approved before i can continue now) and for some strange reason i'm missing a couple of Artist thumbs (still need to check more) which are available online.

It finds the correct MusicBrainz ID, searches on Fanart.TV, HTBackdrops & Last.FM. A thumb was found on HtBackdrops & Last.FM (no clue why it missed Fanart.TV here, since link above shows enough thumbs available there) and it downloads the tmp image and then it reports 'No thumbs found'

Strange right??
Any clue what's going on?

This 1 could be because of the name of the artist.

I'll see what happens when i push again for missing artist thumbs only.

Oh... and btw: GREAT job so far! FH seems almost done! We need to make a few text changes and spelling corrections and see if we can figure out why the above happened. Might have been a hiccup in the connection, but i don't expect that.
2 of the missing artists were added on fanart.TV by myself, so maybe the API is slower than the website and hasn't got the new pics yet? and the other 2 have multiple 'hits' on the website, and are listed like this, for example:
Birdy (Jasmine Van den Bogaerde, English musician)
and that's the match i need to make. Well, not much you can do about this

Personal API keys
We have a new feature called personal API keys, these are used in conjunction with the API key you registered for your app, the difference is a users personal API key can be sent as well.

You should encourage your users to generate personal API keys at https://fanart.tv/get-an-api-key/ as requests to the API without a personal API key return results that were approved over 7 days ago, with a personal API key that drops to around 48 hours and if the user is also a VIP member that will further drop to around 10 minutes.

In comparison, calls to the v2 API return results that are 14 days or older.

There is a Problem with files / db-entries that have more than one Artist for a song.

example:
Bing Crosby & David Bowie - The Little Drummer Boy.mp3
In it's Id3-Tag the Artists are seperatet by ";" --> Bing Crosby; David Bowie
Mediaportal shows these artists seperated by "|" --> Bing Crosby | David Bowie - The Little Drummer Boy

I do have Fanart for both of these Artists.
In former versions (well I can't remember until wich, because there are so many since @ajs is working on it ) of FH fanart for both artists were shown (well of course one after another).
Now there is the default.jpg shown

Interesting: The Artist thumbs are still shown for both Artists...
