I'm not sure if I understand whst you mean

Here is what I did:

1. Start playing music
2. Start Picture Slideshow

when a new song beginns --> Pop up for a few seconds --> see screenshot

+ Add FanartHandler.SlideShowFolders.xml for MyPictures SlideShow (if the file is there, and it is not empty, then the folders from it, or use of my pictures)
+ Add #fanarthandler.pictures.slideshow.enabled (true, false) Slide show mode is activated or not Fanart Handler.
If Slide show activated (#fanarthandler.pictures.slideshow.enabled = true) and #skin.fanarthandler.pictures.slideshow.enabled = true then when playing music should show your pictures but not the backdrop for an artist.

Spme files for Titan skin (turn on/off slideshow) ...

Don´t know if it´s a bug, but with new version music artist clearart flashes several times until settled and shown permanent
Didn´t try picture slideshow, because that feature is integrated in MP itself since 2007
