Under 0.2.3.0 and the dvr-ms format the player worked great! In fact, via MyVideo I can play them and it's still great. Now that MP 1.0 creates .ts & .mpg files, the player does a poor job of multi-speed "scanning" whereby it will advance the time counter but very infrequently display any updated video image. It makes FF & RW nearly unusable. YES, I know that the SKIP function still works, although if you SKIP by much the player sometimes pauses a while before it will begin playing. Additionally, the timeline no longer displays Time-Remaining, but Total-Time on the right.

    Anyone else seen this?

I have found that changing the Direct Show settings in MP config (advanced) so that EVR is not enabled has fixed this issue in my setup. I use Vista/Catalyst 8.12/MP 1.0. single seat setup.

Some others seem to have fixed the issue by disabling EVR.

In server / client on the one machine there is no problem.
Its with the server client setup
I have both nvidia and ati clients and none will fwd or rev without the screen just pausing until play is pressed.
This works fine with mce 2005 and also with dvr-ms files from mce 2005 on Media Portal, so as others have mentioned it seems to be something with the current ts file setup.

Same here. It used to work a long time ago but somewhere along the way it stopped. So now I just use skip which is not ideal.

Yup. Brought this up in my own thread too. Devs seem to not want to confirm this as a bug as I didn't get much response

I got the same problem atleast with .ts recordings and timeshift. Have not tried mpg. But old recordings from VMC works perfectly.
