i downloaded ramdisk plus and installed it.
i changed the xml to reference the new folder locations. it sped up a little bit, but not much. i have the contents of thumbs AND database folders in there (maybe even cache too).
i am using shares view, since not all my music is tagged 100%. when you get beyond 500 cds, it gets hard, because compilations and such get confusing. i would rather just browse shares. so, from the main menu, i click music, and it goes into shares. it takes it a few seconds still (10-15?) is there any way to speed this up?
