Hi, i have terratec CI and doesn't works with mediaportal 1.1 alpha on windows7... thank a lot for your help!!!

1) did it work before in 1.0.2?
2) post log files

i don't know if worked with in 1.0.2 but terratec CI is not supported by mediaportal team? is possible in future the support for it? thanks a lot anyway

Thanks to the testing efforts of Tompa I've nearly finished the CI menu handling for Twinhan/Azurewave/Terratec Cinergy-C cards. The menu already opens, but I'm not sure about selecting choices etc.

This is where I would need some wider testing. As I also have nearly rewritten all Twinhan code, also Diseqc and descrambling should be tested.

I'll prepare a debug build that contains much logging.

Who wants testing please include:

• ensure you enabled CAM in SetupTv
• go to card scan page, select CI menu tab
• enter menu, select options
• start tuning a scrambled channel
• use Diseqc

then finally provide tvserver logs (tswriter,tv,error.log)

I've bought a Technotrend CT-3650 C/T and installed MP 1.0.2, but I'm a little confused of how to install your plugin...
A little help would be greatly appreciated!

Please only install MP 1.0.1 alpha, and the next public svn (probably today). Then everything is included for TT cards already.

The version here is only experimental for Twinhan / Terratec cards.

I meant 1.1 alpha

but sorry, there are no more patches for older (1.0.2) versions, because of too many changes. And it's now a core feature...

btw, 1.1 alpha is very stable. don't hesitate to test

I installed 1.1 Alpha and the latest svn.
After successfully changing channel 1-2 times, I get "Unable to start timeshift/Channel is scrambled".
If I run the TechnoTrend software after this and go to the CAM menu, it says: "CAM inserted. Please wait..."

there was a bug introduced in last svn build that is now fixed (by dynamic pmt channel switching).

Sometimes i get Problems switching the channels in MP Alpha with my CaBix card, it seems to me that i have a CI problem cause zapping between free Unitymedia channels like ARD, ZDF or the third programs works extremely well but sometimes i get the Timeshift / Graph message if i switch to a crypted channel like RTL or Pro 7.

The cam settings are done right i think, ( youth protection etc. ). I saw that you use the KNC card wich is basically the same then my Cabix, do you experience this channelswitching behaviour as well ? I´ve tried out any suggestions i found in the web about this Timeshift / Graph error but unforunately i can´t sort it out completely...
