Feature Request: Remote Database and/or Movie List Export (2 Viewers)

hmmm ok. LRF can you check through my database, and maybe see if the tables are named something else or something? Otherwise, this just means my database is corrupt somewhere/somehow?

Ok guys im back, like i said I only threw together on friday so I will work on it and clean it up starting monday. So far all i have plans to do are:
1. Make IMDB link a link
2. Clean up the html code
3. Maybe give the user some css options such as bg color, table padding, etc.

Please let me know if you guys want anything else.

I edited it a little in google docs but if i create a new list every time i have to edit everything to make the background color,
Table width, Font, Font Size, Ect. Ect.

This should be a great implentation so we dont have to edit the html file everytime we update our movie list,
cause your standard output of the file looks like this:

also some future requests:


1. That you can click the link details_url that you forwarded directly on the website.
2. Also that you can direct forwarded to the imdb_id title page from the index.html.
3. Is it also possible to edit the tool that it can also create a webpage with thumbnails that should be cool
4. Editing of the html file like Color, Borderwidht of tables, Font, ect. ect.
5. I also found out that the tool not sorts the index.html on Alphabetic Order this should also be oke if it can be fixed.

your tool is a great feature if you can add some more things some suggestions i described above
and the one that i think are really cool feature is the imdb url link, small thumbnails of the covers like z3us has on his site
like z3us has on his site his database is created with PK's MovieDB Release.V3.0 (Dynamic PHP View)if you could create a tool that it ouputs everthing from moving pictures databse that should be cool, and editing of html bg color font padding ect. ect.

also i encountered an error if you check my movie list ist says 94 movies

but i only have 84 in my collection now

if you check the html file of my movie list some ids are it goes from 29 to 31 so 30 is missing then from 50 to 52 so 51 is missing

if you count all you see it are 84 movies but the html id says 94

maybe you can fix that

His tool is showing you the ID of that movie. It is not a movie count. That is why the number is off. If you remove a movie from your DB, that number goes away, but the ID still increments by one.

but i didnt remove any movie from the database i started this database wen i setup my htpc 3 weeks ago and no movies were removed only movies added

I don't know what to tell you. I guess it is possible that moving pictures put a match in the DB and changed it for a different one for a movie. (You cannot think of the movie_info stuff as your files. These are just movie info's. If Moving-Pictures matched a movie and you changed it to the correct one, that would also explain what happened.

Hy,

that's something that i put together just for fun

It will load you slow becouse i have slow upload at home. And it's just a quick version, so many things should be added and fixed. Oh yeah and i test it only in FF. I'm sure it will not work well in IE6 becouse of transparent PNGs. Not sure and don't care how it looks like in IE7.
