However, selecting 'keep original aspect ratio' in ffdshow <em>always</em> gives me a very squashed picture. Selecting 'no aspect ratio correction' forces me to choose an aspect ration in MP... each freeview channel broadcasts different sizes, and I alwas get confused to what the correct aspect ratio is...</p><p></p><p>Any ideas to how I can overcome this and get ffdshow to always display the correct aspect ratio? Or is this not possible and it must be done manually withing MP, in which case, which aspect ratio is the correct one to use when?</p><p></p><p>Thanks in advance!</p></blockquote><p></p>
