Are you using the 1.4 pre-release? Here it works perfect, no problems with config at all.
Can even open the plugins´s config and make adjustments.

BTW why are you all trying to open all plugins in Configuration?
I'm trying not to look in it at all after introducing GUI Settings in MP and GUI Importer in MovPics.

Because for file explorer there are no gui settings.

I opened the wrong files. Here are the logs with some infos about file explorer.

But I didn't find DefaultWide skin.
UPD. @fischy667 I could reproduce your error only without translations in language folder.
