i've noticed you can no longer search imdb for movies, just wondering, why did you drop support for using that site?

IMDb doesn't provide an API. The sooner it is replaced by more open services like TheMovieDB and TheTVDB the better.

Plus, IMDb support was always vastly inferior to TheMovieDB support anyway. There is no good reason to keep it around.

cool. that's good to know. I've been labelling my moviles as filename - TT#### , but i should probably switch to the moviedb at some stage.

IMDb IDs are fine. FileBot has full support for that, and TheTVDB/TheMovieDB also have support IMDb IDs next to their own IDs. So when FileBot encounters tt####### it'll simply go to TheMovieDB to look up the full metadata on that movie.
