[confirm] Files containing unicode characters in the file name are shown in thin font (1 Viewer)

    If the file name contains a unicode character, the font used for the file name is thinner. In Windows XP the fonts for non unicoded file names and unicode file names are same and look correct. Only in Windows 7 there is a problem. See the attached screen shot.

    Thank you for the link, I will try the workarounds, however I don't see this behaviour in 1.1.2 on XP. Could you check on your end?

    Yes, on Windows XP I also don't see any "problems" with this. However on Win Vista/7 you should be able to avoid the problems with the workarounds in the post.

    Thank you. Setting useExtendedCharsWithStandardCulture to "yes" and cleaning the cashe resolved the problem.

    Do we know why the behaviour is different in XP and W7?

    Would the MP performance be affected by skin cache weight? I mean using <entry name="useExtendedCharsWithStandardCulture">yes</entry> vs <entry name="useExtendedCharsWithStandardCulture">512</entry>. Does it make sense to default useExtendedCharsWithStandardCulture to the maximum value during installation instead of using the workarounds?

    What would be the minimum value for proper display of cyrillic characters?
