I used to use the exact same setup (less xvid codec) before switching over to SAF4 unlocked. NB: I don't use the latest SAF4, i use one of the older safs, then integrate ac3filter on top of that.

The only thing i would recommend is letting ffdshow audio filter handle any 5.1 AAC streams, if you try 5.1 AAC movie (uncommon) you may have problems (the channel order is incorrect in the speakers) with ac3filter.

Hi. I tried using your suggestion and when using cyberlink decoder for h.264, there's a noticeable screen tear near the bottom. Any ideas what to do?

I've now just today upgraded my machine from XP to Windows 7 x64 and I'm experiencing the same thing - weird.
