FireDTV DVB-C shows up as DVB-T (1 Viewer)

Hi All

my DVB-C Floppy DTV shows up as a DVB-T card and i am having problems scanning my channels since the xml for dvb-t does not have QAM or Symbolrate...

thanx for any advice

Hi, bit of a noob, so not sure if I can help, but which drivers did you install? If you install the Floppy DTV drivers for MCE, then the card shows up as a DVB-T card.

I've never tried the non-MCE drivers though, so I don't actually know if they show up as DVB-C.

If you use the Digital Everywhere support tool, it will tell you what version of the drivers you have (the MCE ones have an "M" at the end).
