Hi,

Should both files really report fileversion x.x.x.x (vistasp1_ldr.x-x)? Only 1394bus_c2.sys does for me. Is that a problem?

Running Vista x86.

Thank you for you efforts. They are greatly appreciated!

But I have no problem at all under XP. I have problems only under vista and only after a resume from standby (if I restart fresh I have no problem at all)... Restart of mediaportal at resume seems to have no effect. Another strange thing: i have problems only with live tv.

Hi robyf

Could you check what power mode your system is running in? Most likely its either s1 or s3
You can check it in your bios....

I have updated to Vista SP2 and did not previously have your patch installed. I recently have been having the Floppy DTV card just drop out and disappear off the system.

Checking the OHCI Firewire driver mine hasn't updated with SP2. I've tried telling it to search for updated drivers, reports all up to date. Should I install your pack to update it? :D

    Edit:

Being an impatient man I went ahead and installed your patch anyway! The Hotfix naturally told me it was already installed so I preceeded to install the driver update. All went well the system asked me to restart and the new version is now installed.

I will see how things pan out and let you know what the outcome is. Hopefully it will solve the proplem of the card just disappearing causing the machine to pause or in some cases crash.

I have 2 floppyDTV's in my system. One was dropping out randomly. Seemed that the Firewirecable supplied with the second card was broken. Small vibrations (like the start of the nearby fan) could cause to cable to fail... I got a new cable from the floppyDTV developers and the problem was gone.

    I'm gonna try that.

But I have my doubts about the CAM because the free to air channels do not give this problem without the CAM.

(didn't I see you on the dutch forum also;) )
