When i watch a recorded program more often that not the first 10 secs is good, then the next 10 sec the pic runs very slow, then the pic catches up to the sound over the next 10 secs by playing 2x normal speed - from this point is the pb is very stable with almost no missed frames for what could be a couple of hours.
I don't generally get this when i watch a prog using my ram drive timeshift. Seems like an IO thing to me. I've tried setting power so that my hdd never stops, but didn't make much difference. Disk is otherwise good and defragged.
Any suggestions appreciated. Logs attached.
