Hiya,
I've just setup MediaPortal for the first time and on the whole, works really well and really pleased....thanks so much!
However, I've got a few questions which I hope you might be able to answer:
1. I've got a couple of gaps in the EPG i.e. as I'm in the UK - BBC2 and ITV1 in particular. I've ticked the box to say 'attempt to fill gaps in EPG' but the problem remains. Any ideas?
2. Presumably MediaPortal needs to stay running to be able to record. As I'm thinking about power saving, what are my options here and what do other people do?
3. Is there any way to change the section that MediaPortal goes to when you first load up? For me it goes straight to my tv shows but I want it to go to my tv.
4. I'm not sure whether there is a way to solve this but when I watch TV (using WinNova T 500), I get a clear picture in the foreground but some of the background is blurry. For TV decoders I'm using:
MPEG2 - MPV
Audio - MPA
Deinterlace mode - None
Screen resolution is set to 720p (haven't got a 1080p TV) optimised (1152x648 50hz) and colour quality set to medium (16 bit).
Any thoughts much appreciated,
Edit: I've also now noticed that there is regular stuttering when watching the TV. Very weird.
