@offbyone - This is probaly the same problem as the SVT play thread. I've done exactly the same thing as @ripk and made total re-installation of OV, with the same result, I also made it once with UAC of and then i worked (some 25 min ago - so it might be your dll update that fixed it I don't know - going to try with UAC again).

If you find something useful or the problems disappear please mention it in te SVT thread. I think the "+1:ers"-people would like that...

I think at some point the original 1.5 release dll was published accidentally (not sure how that happened).

The site has changed and the OnlineVideos scraper for TED needs an update. I'll close this thread as it is too old and the original problem was fixed in the meantime.
