I don't know if this is the right forum I post in, but here we go:

As you can see on the attached pictures, there are some very annoying big flickering pixels when I see live TV. It is on all my channels. I have cable tv... I have tried several mpeg2 codec: nvidia purevideo, ATI avivo, ffdshow, dscaler, powerdvd, SAF, but all with the same result...
What can be wrong ? Is it the codec, hardware or ??
My HTPC plays Blu Ray flawless in PowerDVD...

It's probably just the quality of the reception :( I have the same problem on my HTPC. Even if I can receive the same channels without errors on the STB. I think PC DVB-C receivers are just less sensitive than the one they have in STB.

I will post log files asap.... Regardin the reception, I don't think there's any problem there... If I plug my TV directly into the cable network then there's nothing wrong...

I have attached the logfiles to my first post ...

Looks like bad reception to me. Take a lok in the logs of MediaPortal, you will most likely find dropped/corrupted data.

I don't understand if I have bad reception when I get the signal from YouSee... As far as I can see I don't see anything about bad/corrupted data in the logs... But then again, i'm not sure what to look after ...

Problem solved... I have just bought a Terratec Cinergy tuner, and now there's no problems ... So it was just because Technotrend cards are crappy apperently.....
