FM Radio on HVR-2200 not working (1 Viewer)

The card is apparently an 8901 and not 7164.

This has been frustrating for 6 months and I'm hoping someone can help. I want to get rid of an old FM radio wasting space.

With MP 1.0 RC2 many months ago, I was listening to FM radio perfectly well with the HVR-2200 card. It wouldn't work to scan FM channels, but I could create a channel manually and enter the frequencies in the Analog tab (not the FM Radio tab).

With newer versions of MP, all I get now is a "No Signal. Cannot start time shifting" message.

A Radio scan finds no frequencies with a signal, although I have an antenna plugged in the FM antenna socket.

Although it says the signal and quality of 98.6 is 100%, on the screen it says no signal for that frequency, and after finishing the scan it says no channels added.

Although there are 10 local stations, the log only displayed "card: Tuner locked: True" on 2 frequencies, although I know the signals are strong.

The WinTV v7 application that came with the card plays FM radio.

Any ideas?
