Looks like a nice skin, but it doesn't seem to work to well for me because the screen freezes when ever I try to go into Videos or other components that start with a menu (weather is fine). I can blindly click and start a movie (or at lease I can hear it) so its not fully locked up, it just stops refreshing the screen. I"m running MP 0.2.2.0.

Edit: And now BlueTwo doesn't work anymore... it just shows the desktop. I hope I don't have to reinstall Media Portal. Is there an uninstall for your skin?

That might be caused by the WeatherOverlay. Disable it and try again...

I am sorry to hear that some people are having problem with th0e foofaraw skin... I have only tested it up to the latest release (not including svn's) so people running svn's might experience some errors. I beleive the weather overlay is causing some issues across most of the skins. Just so you know... the installer creates the foofaraw directory, and copies across all the xml files, media and animations. It then deletes any exsisting *.png's in the foofaraw main directory. The in deletes any *.bxml from the main directory.. It then deletes all files frm the fonts directory. It also install the wipeout ont in your windows font directory..

The main reason for deleting files *.png, and *.bxml are so that it should be possible to repair the skin by reinstalling.

If uninstalling and reinstalling foofaraw does not solve your problems.. it is likely that foofaraw is not fully compatable with your svn version of mediaportal..... I believe that it is possible to copy across some xml files from blue two to help make it compatable.... there are various coments eralier in this thread that maybe of help...

best Regards

Rich

I work for a company who are planning on distributing MediaPortal (at no charge of course) and we would really like to talk to you guys about using your skin. Maybe even getting a custom made by your team?
They would pay and follow all rules regarding open source.
Please let me know who i should talk to regarding this, thanks.

Hi overfiendau,

Thank you for your interest in the foofaraw skin.

we are happy for you to redistrubute our skin with mediaportal, please be aware that foofaraw is still being developed and there is still much graphical work to do, as well as a few bugs to iron out.

If you would like please donate to the mediaportal paypal account (link on mediaportal home page)

I don't know about the others who are having problems but I'm just using the latest stable release, not SVNs. I ended up having to uninstall and reinstall MP altogether which made for a fun Sunday evening:(
Much as I love the look of this skin I'm steering clear for a little while until it's a little less volatile.

Just for the record, I've been experiencing no problems whatsoever with the skin.
I love it! :D

Are there any plans to add support for the tv-server in this skin? When I navigate to the MyTV with the tvplugin installed, I get an xml file not found message.

Thanks for the great work so far!
