Hope you do not mind, went through this whole thread regarding the new backgrounds and could not find about this function for ease of use, so putting up the pictures with a little howto.

I just love this facility.

Anyway to choose background go to the Mediaportal installation folder and you will find "foofarawbackgroundchanger.exe", double click to activate, if you are using the default install location for MP it will take you straight to the background pictures (inside skins\foofaraw\background folder) once you hit the folder search button (no label), if you have installed MP elsewhere, you will need too navigate to it's location.

Select the background and that is it.

You will need to delete the foofaraw cache inside MP folder\cache for XP and hidden folder Program data\Team mediaportal\mediaportal\cache for Vista

I really like the way this skin is going, now with the new button menues and stuff.
What stops me from using this skin, is the speed on the animations. They are way to slow imo.
Browsing menues is pain for my time in this life (perhaps am am getting too old too fast)

You should consider doing the skin usable without animations, with some kind of highlight gfx.

Thanks for all the feedback... I hope to address alot of these graphical glitches with foofaraw 0.7b whic all being well I will release later this week. I will include another version of the background changer with this release that deletes the cache files for you... a 1610 version will follow shortly but at the moment I am really concentrating on getting the 16:9 version working correctly.. there are a few graphical glitches and navigation problems that I didn't spot before the release.... Also with the background changer you can copy an bmp, png, jpg into the foofaraw background directory and it will appear in the background list.. I n my experience it is best not to exceed a picture of 1366 by 768 or it takes ages to "rebuild" the skin package files when mediaportal starts. So If anyone comes up with some funky backgrounds please share the wealth!!!! the included backgrounds were quickly generated by my self and chris just hours before the release!!!

As ive stated earlier i love this skin! But have you considered making the icons in filmstrip view larger? I used to use core, and thats the major thing i miss..

Yeah I would like to see these much bigger too. There's quite allot of empty space, and the grey banner on the bottom could be sized down a bit imho.
