Hi joystick

Still having issues with this, not in positions, they are great , but it changes behaviour of screen.

My setup auto turns on fullscreen live tv, this behaviour stops with the new xml, it just takes me straight to tv home, with no tv playing, can switch to on, not a problem and then go to fullscreen from there.
When i then go back to tvhome, i get the busy icon permanently spinning.
Can swap between the 2 xml files and consistantly get everything working fine with original, fails with new.

Just wondering why the increase in filesize from original mytvserver.xml, if positions are only edited.

Hi i am new to mediaportal 3 days) but i have been using meedio for some years now but i love the new version of MP and works very well. I have tried most of the skins and this one is great.To get the My films plug in to work i just copied the xml files from the monochrome skin and works great. How do i go able adding a button to the basic screen for my films and also how do i change the icons if posible. Cheers.

P.s where can i get the skin editor as the links seem to be broken.

I posted a while back on this thread because i was experiencing issues with the foofaraw skin, but by the lack of response im guessing nobody else has the same troubles as me. I kind of learnt to accept the problems but thought I would see if anyone can help me anyway.

The main problem is that when watching tv if i press to bring up the epg the following happens...

it seems the guide gets stuck behind the tv picture, anyone have any thoughts on how i could solve this?

another smaller problem is that when accessing the guide from teh initial my tv screen the following happens...

again the tv picture stays stuck on top.

Boy that is screwed up, just downloaded and installed with joysticks last MyTVhomeServer.xml he posted.

Seems to work with MP1, delete the catched folder contents for foofaraw, see if that changes things.

Maybe just a bad MP install.

Cheers for the fast reply, unfortunatley theres no luck there, i completely uninstalled everything about 2 days ago, reisnstalled it all and there was no change its a really odd problem though because if i press the information button then press guide it works just fine 90% of the time. Thanks again.

in addition... just to make sure right to do a clean install do i jsut uninstall then remove anything left behind in program files and programdata (on vista) or is there somethnig im missing?

Should just be those two, as foofaraw is a program, uninstall that first though.

Wish Rich was about, just noticed a few things that could do with fixing

1st is Live fullscreen TV, record button overlaps text when info button pressed.

2nd TV menu with TV running "TV ON" does not go blue, turn off then back on goes blue fine after that.

3rd Menu selected from live fullscreen TV, choose TV guide, get 2 hrs worth shown when there is ample room for 3hrs of guide.

Maybe just being picky

I should point out this is the first time I have ever posted on a skin B4.Thats how much it impressed me. I have been using XBMC for many years and have only been using Mediaportal for the last year or so. Have seen many skins come and go. Keep up the great work.
