I have been trying to add a schedule ....

I select schedules - recordings - create schedule

I select 'dragon' to be any part of the name and see a show listed for the 4th December BBC TWO
I cancel this operation and look in the guide, there are no programs shown for this day, or any later days on BBC TWO and most other channels have no data but some go to the 12th.

So things show up in create schedule that are not in the guide.
I have just imported a new guide.

{Later}

I just checked back and I am pretty sure that I installed the program on the 20th Nov that makes the 4th Dec 14days on, which is the length of the guide data I am importing.

So you are saying there is no guide data at all on that day, and yet the show did show up when you created a schedule? Note that the Search TV Guide will only show a maximum of 250 programs, starting from now. Did you check in the TV Guide panel itself on the 4th?

hi dvd_freak,

i´m testing your great plugin now on my machine. i´m using tvserver with the 0.2.3 final MP version and german clickfinder to import the tv data into the tvserver configuration.

i´m trying to make some schedules now. and i think i found a bug :). i try to record Navy CIS weekly and check "On days" - sunday in the schedule window but tvscheduler cannot find any episode on sunday. checking "Sa" tvscheduler finds some episodes in the guide (but Navy CIS is running on sunday). there is a problem with the checkboxes i think. "Sa" seems to be "Su" "We" seems to be "Th". i hope you understand by bad english.

thank you very much for your plaugin and bye.

Yes in the TvGuide panel nothing is shown.

I just double-checked this and the checkboxes are working fine here. Can you double-check the guide in the TV Guide panel?

Yes in the TvGuide panel nothing is shown.

That's very strange. Perhaps the bug is in the TV Guide panel then, TvScheduler can hardly invent a show ;)

Can you check the database itself with SQL Management Studio?

Extremely confusing, as I just doublechecked this.

Can you use SQL Management Studio to have a look at the RulesXml field of the schedule you edited, to see what day is shown there?

In dbo.GuideProgram I see data upto the 13th Dec.

Okay, so the problem is in the TV Guide. Is there data shown for BBC TWO on any other day? Or does it seem like a problem with BBC TWO never showing any data?

Can you check the link between the BBC TWO tv-channel and its underlying Guide Channel in the "TV Channels" panel?

Perhaps also try out version 1.0.0.8?
