The problem of me not being able to change channels from AC3 channels to Mpeg audio and vice a versa is still a ongoing problem for me, however looking closer at the server logs i believe the server thinks that there is no free cards,there must be a glitch somewhere that doesn't release the card or something ?

Sorry, could you explain a little bit more your problem? My understanding is something like this:

1 Tune Channel A with AC3.
2 Go to guide and Tune CHannel B with other audio track (eg MPEG).
3 - You receive a No free card error.

Is that it? Please add if the channels are on the same transponder an etc.

sorry yep i should have been a bit clearer, Basically the only problem i am having with tv engine is this.
Tune to channel "WIN TV" (MPEG audio) watching tv is fine, if i change to another station that is MPEG audio it changes channel perfectly, however if i change to a HD stations with AC3 audio it doesn't display any audio or video, the screen freezes on the last station and there is no audio. If i then go back to the Home screen then stop the tv , and then go into it again it starts showing the HD station with the AC3 audio fine. So it can watch those stations just doesn't seem to like going from AC3 stations to MPEG ones and vice a versa.

These are on different transpoders so for example WIN TV MPEG audio to TEN Capital HD AC3.

Its very strange going from HD AC3 to HD AC3 works perfectly and changes in 2-3 seconds, and going from MPEG audio to MPEG audio works perfectly as well , its just going from one to the other that causes this problem.

On hte server it reflects the channel change in the manual control part, but in the logs it seems the problem is it doesn't think there is a card free to use.


Note: I dont' get an error say no free card, it just hangs on the previous station with the video frozen and the audio has stopped
