I'm currently running mediaportal under xp sp3 without any issue but I'm currently experimenting with vista and windows 7.

The problem I have in both vista and windows 7 is that after a resume from standby or hybernate I have frame drops in live tv (exactly one or two each five seconds).

I've tried everything without beeing able to solve the issue. I suspect is a video card problem or a tuner card driver problem.

I've had this problem for a long time so I try to find someone who has the same problem, and maye has solved it.

    Thanks

I have a similar problem, but with XP SP3 curiously. If i resume, I get the stuttering problem in live TV. Shutting mediaportal and restarting it causes the stuttering to go away. I have mediaportal automatically restart on resume now (one of the options in config).

Restarting mediaportal does not solve the problem unfortunately. If I restart the PC the problem goes away...

Is this a singleseat or multiseat setup, five seconds sounds a bit like the heartbeat check from powerscheduler, what happens if you restart the TVService, is there any difference then.

This is a singleseat setup... I wil try to restart tvservice and let you know...

I've tried to restart the service with no result, the problem is still there. I've also tried to disable powerscheduler client and server plugins after the resume but this strange frame drop every five seconds is still there.

Other ideas? I can post logs if they can be useful...
