[solved] FTA channels but reported as encrypted (1 Viewer)

I am having the following problem.

I need to record some of my local television broadcasts. This transponder is FTA. BUT, if tuned by mediaportal, will display in red (ie, encrypted channels) and I cannot view or record the channel (VTV1 in the image). When you click on the preview on the TV server to display an error message, all the cards are busy. If in MP interface there will be error messages no cards are available.

This problem has been confirmed by the broadcast station. The TV still announced that the channel was encrypted, but the TV still decoded and the program can still be viewed, so the broadcasting station did not perform the error correction.
Mediaportal works normally with other transponders.

Attached is another software (dvbdream running on the same computer and receiving the same transponder. There is still an encrypted channel message (padlock icon) but this software still decodes and views like a normal TV often.

I know that the broadcaster is broadcasting incorrectly. However, is there a way for MediaPortal to view and record this TP?

Thanks for ANY support/.

You situation is highly specialised, and I don't think that there is anyone in the current MP team who can answer your question. Sorry.

Thanks for answering.
I am also aware of the complexity of the problem I encountered. Unfortunately, my work needs to record those programs. It is difficult to explain to the customer what the problem is happening. They do not understand the DVB-T2 standards.
In my country, 100% of TVs can decode this TP, TVs can watch normally. Even DVBdream software can do it. But I do not like it. I like the stability of MP.

Is there any trick for MP to bypass encryption recognition and try to decode the signal? I confirm the stream is not tampered with and encrypted. But for some reason the encryption signal seems to be on.

Sadly, the one-and-only MP TV expert has retired from the team, and there is no one to take his place :(. If there is a way of bypassing the encryption test, I don't think that anyone in the current team knows how to do it.

This may seem like a strange suggestion, but you might want to consider trying a different mediacenter application, something like NextPvr perhaps. You might be lucky and find that it works straight away in your situation, or that it can be setup to work satisfactorily in your situation. There are other MC applications too (Wikipedia has a page comparing them).

Sorry that I cannot be of more help.

You could try editing the channel is TV Server Configuration and ticking "Free To Air", take a look at Add or Edit a Channel. Alternatively selecting "CAM enabled and present for this card" on each tuner might work, see TV Servers

Thanks for your guidance. I ticked "Free To Air" and everything worked. I was able to view this TP normally.
