Fundamental installation problems (1 Viewer)

I am a new MediaPortal user. I downloaded MP 2, installation worked flawlessly.
I started MP2, but everything is empty, no TV, no Videos.... I read doc. that talks about server config toll, I have no such thing. I get the MP2, MP2 service monitor and uninstall utility. I am totally lost, no idea where to configure enything. Any help will be much appreciated.
