Dude works like a charm... Brilliant... I have no sticky keys, all the origional MP keys also work...

Noticed that MP keys override keys in "Keyboard plugin".. This does not bother me though as I just use keys with CTRL and ALT any way...

glad to hear i'm still trying to figure out the key repeat rate problem with the plugin turned on...

i have just tested this by mapping keyboard down key to ACTION_RIGHT in KeyboardInputPlugin.. down key is configured as ACTION_DOWN in MP.. when i press down i go right, so KeyboardInputPlugin has priority, KeyboardInputPlugin override MP keys not other way around.. Tell me more about your configuration..

I had F2 assigned to flip to Moving Pictures, yet when I pressed F2 it would just jump to MP Config... You know when it would say, you have to close MP First message.. Hope that makes sense..

I had not noticed any other keys, but as I said all my other keys are "CTRL SHIFT (put key here)"

I just installed this plugin (2.2.0.0) and got the delayed keyboard input problem while MP was running with the plugin.

Also, I'm trying to find an action window that takes me to my default My Music view. There appears to be no action window just called "music".

you should use WINDOW action with window "5" (music)

keyboard delay (repeat rate slowdown) is bugging me also.. but not on every machine i've tried.. i tried to source it and fix it but failed.. will take a look at it again later..

I got a harmony 525 remote and an IR-Receiver from my Terratec cinergy S2 TV-Card... will this combination work well together or do I need to buy a new USB-IR-Receiver?

I must be missing something..... I can't find any such window action in the drop box. I have music files, music artist, music years etc, but each of those seems to change my album/artist view.

What I'm trying to do is make the "My Music" button on the remote go to the default my music view when no media is playing, but when media is playing, go to My Lyrics.

you're right, i can't find music window either, need to check whats going on there too

btw, there is a work around:

c:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\InputDeviceMappings\Keyboard.xml

open it, find the dummy action you created (for example for TV window instead of Music window) and replace the line with

<action layer="0" condition="*" conproperty="-1" command="WINDOW" cmdproperty="5" />

bold parts are important..

Hey disaster, how do you edit the default.key?? That's been bugging me for some time.....

Thanks SilentExcept, that worked..... yes, that action window is not exposed in the general HID device configuration drop down either. I'm guessing this plugin gets it's conditions / actions etc from the same place.
