Oh yeah, that made a lot of sense...... :p

Actually the action window 5 didn't work. I thought it did, but I got confused with the multiple copies of keyboard.xml I'm weorking on at the moment, but yes, Music Genre does take me to my default music view. Thanks mate.

You gonna post your mediaportal.imo and keyboard.xml? Think you "promised" that over in the mini display thread ;) That's what lead me here to this thread.

nah.... locked in 7.6 as well.... might go and grab a really old 6.0 version than so I can create one.... Might ask Chemelli if we can get Soundgraph to unlock it again.

Just a question.... in the files you posted, you seem to have remapped everything away from the non-standard MP keys (eg P for play, B for Stop etc). Any particular reason for doing that? Just curious.....

Paste or import the imo file into this directory... Just import, you might need to get rid of other hotkeys in other sections....

    C:\Users\Media\AppData\Roaming\SOUNDGRAPH\iMON\Setup\RM200

This is the main one, just copy this into the directory below... This is the setup for the Input plugin file..

    C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\InputDeviceMappings

Files are attached to message.. I was going to write a more detailed message, but I'm drunk :D

I just found this plugin, my old iMon remote broke, got a new one which was supposed to be MCE compatible, but turned out it isn't :( . Hopefully this plugin has enabled me to use it with Media Portal, but I have one issue that I haven't been able to overcome.

I have found no way to assing a button to toggle full-screen mode, for instance switch to full-screen TV and back, or when I watch a movie. I tried an action called Show Fullscreen, but doesn't do anything. If I could set it up to send key presses, it's the "x" key, but I found no way to do that either. I did a workaround by jumping to full-screen TV window when I'm on My TV, and by going to My TV when I'm on full-screen TV, but that only works on those two windows and there are many that can have a small TV window (guide, home, etc.)

BTW I had to upgrade to the version 2.2.0.0 published here, the one published on the downloads for Media Portal crashed when I pressed a button that wasn't configured, so I had to map every single button for every possible window.

Hey went to IRSS briefly in the hope that the HID had been resolved but I had no control over the mapping in MP Control plugin... So I have returned... I would like to use IRSS in full but there are just too many issues it seems...

The only problem I have with this plugin is the keyboard delay issue.. Has there been any improvement on that. Does any one know.. Thanks

I have been using version 2.1 of this plugin for some time. I have just updated to version 2.2. I've found this plugin very useful in getting my VRC-1100 (imitation MCE) remote to work with MediaPortal. I do have an odd problem though. Every now and again when I've kept MediaPortal open for several hours, or more usually after running a DVD, the plugin seems to stop working, and MediaPortal's default shortcuts come back into play. Has anyone else experienced this?

I've been using the same remote for the last two weeks (my Imon Knob broke :( ), but I'm not having this problem.

I do have other smaller issues. First the volume, after resuming from hibernation sometimes it won't work, pressing + or - does nothing however I can see the OSD volume moving (I didn't have any problem with Imon). Another weird problem is that the numeric keys behave diferently on the first press, only the first time that I use them; if I want to go to channel 6, pressing 6 does something like jump forward and the next press is registered correctly (and all of them after that). I've been unable to find how to set up a key on the remote for full screen ("X" on the keyboard).

Overall I'm not too happy with this remote. It's sold as Media Center compatible, and it does work with Media Center, but doesn't use the standard keycodes, so you can't use it as MCE on Media Portal :( . At least this plugin enables most functionality :) .
