Get Harmony remote working with iMon VFD on MediaPortal (4 Viewers)

Just to cleat things a bit:

I'm running MiniDisplay + IRSS (latest version self compiled). The latter is configured as "MCE" and not as "iMON".
I have a perfectly working Harmony 555 remote configured as MCE.

VFD with 0x30 firmware and iMON 7.40.806 ( installed but not running ).
What can do the trick is the firmware, maybe new ones are behaving in a different way...

I was thinking about opening a thread, not to expose problems but to expose all (and only that !) the working solutions that have been proved to be working so far with variou details :
- Soundgraph LCD/VFD model (VFD/LCD USB/other interface, OEM/Retail, Firmware)
- iMonManager version
- MP version
- The working solution exposed/explained

What do you think about the idea ?

I had the same issue with the iMon and my 880. I have it working perfectly after a few hours of tinkering with the Logitech software and remote. It also required adding a few custom buttons to the remote, but the default buttons should work fine.

1. Use "Media Center PC (MicrosoftWindows Media Center)" device on the Harmony
2. I set the iMON software to use an MCE remote
3. Set MediaPortal to use a MCE remote
4. In iMON Manager, add a MediaPortal Program Command set
5. Set these MediaPortal custom functions -

i think this is a great idea
i would like to get it running without the imon software
so a guide how to set this up would be perfect

I'm at work and didn't have time to read all the posts so this may be of no help, but I also had problems with the SoundGraph VFD and my Harmony One remote for weeks until I ran across this post:

Make sure you configure your remote as a SoundGraph device using the Logitech software, not an MCE remote.

I have an Antec Black Fusion Remote Case - Imon 7..20 and Harmony 880. I cant get it to work, can anyone point me in the right direction?
