getting comskip to run automatically in MP (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I have configured Comskip (80_027) in MP (1.0.2), and the "Test" works really well, however, it does not seem to be automatically launching at the end of a recording.

I have enabled Comskip in the TV Server Configuration, and have specified the Program as: "C:\Program Files\comskip\comskip.exe", and left the default parameters. The default ini is still in place.

I also tried the option of launching at the start of a recording, but I got no comskip files with that either...

Any ideas as to what I should tweak? Could it be a permissions thing?

Have you restarted the TV-server?

i have actually NOT restarted the TV Service yet, so i will happily do that shortly.

and, i have a show set to record in about an hour, so it would be fantastic if that's all that was wrong!

it worked.

gawd, i wish i would've tried that earlier. after all the trawling on the forums i did last night/today, sheesh.

anyway, onto the next thing making sure the ads are trimmed correctly - one i did a 'test' on earlier wasn't quite right. but, i'm happy to play with that for a bit before seeking advice again.
