Hey Gents,

Been a happy user of moving pictures but Im not sure if I set it up correctly. The movies I have got all the correct info from imdb/themoviedb but their ratings like PG/PG-13 and such are incorrect. Is this a set up issue on my end or a known bug? Thanks in advance!

Make sure you are running the latest release of Moving Pictures. Older versions have a problem with ratings because of an HTML change on imdb.com.

Im currently using ver 1.1.5, I believe thats the latest stable one?

Open the manual scraper dialog to verify what your primary scraper is and which version it has. Scraper scripts can be updated seperate. The latest version is usually included with the latest release of MovPic, but those movie catalog websites sometimes change their HTML code fast, so inbetween scraper script updates are released.

I just re-imported 10 test movies with the current IMDb+ scraper and all the information obtained is correct, including certifications, so there has not been another change on the imdb.com HTML code. The latest version for default imdb.com scraper is v2.1.5 (there is also v2.1.6, but that is for future movie.studios support, and not required right now)

Im getting a PG rating for live free or die hard (die hard 4). Please see what you get on that one. Thanks!

I'm getting the correct PG-13 rating. So instead of asking what others are getting, you need to provide scraper debug logs, so we can actually see why it goes wrong for YOU. Or simply answer question as to what scraper script name+version you are using.

I apologize but how can I check which scrapper Im using with moving pictures?

    -Kevin

Open MovingPictures configuration, and go to the "Importer Settings" tab:

    FAQ.MovingPictures.1a_Importer.Settings.png

Adjust the radio button to "Manually Manage" the data source scrapers:

    FAQ.MovingPictures.1b_Manually.Manage.png

Use the "Movie Details Data Sources" button to open the following:

    FAQ.MovingPictures.1c_Movie.Details.Data.Sources.png

And that will give you the list of what scrapers you have, and their version. So provide the name+version of the top-most scraper that matches your language you had configured when scraper was selected automatic. If you ran in manual scraper mode already, then it would be the 1st scraper entry.
