hi,
if tvguide.xml is located on a network drive like Y:\utils\xmltv the tvserver don't load it.

if i put the guidetv.xml on c:\utils\xmltv it's work

    I've moved the location of mine and it picks it up ok. Then again, it's still on the same drive, not a totally different one.

    Also, I guess it's just a type, but you realise it ha to be called tvguide.xml, not guidetv.xml?

    ok the file as the good name 'tvguide.xml' and not loaded if it is located on another computer.

    I had a similar thing where one PC downloaded the guide but I never even tried to map the import to a network drive.
    I just made a batch file to copy the new guide across once a day.
    Your method is much simpler, but it never even occurred to me.
    Kind of good I guess since it doesn't seem to work.

    hum, tvserver2 work well with mapped drive and i can't install tvserver3 on my server.
    Create a script to copy the file is not what i want.
    i hope future release of tvserver3 work with mapped drive

    have you tried to use UNC drive mappings? IE \\<computer>\<folder>\tvguide.xml
    Some apps don't handle mapped drives very nicely.
