Hi everyone, hoping someone can help.
I'm running xp pro with tvserver in my lounge (twin dvb-s card) and everything is working well. I'm now trying to set up tvclient on other machines and when my (Vista ultimate + MP + tvclient) machine tries to connect it just hangs. (ie when i specify the name of the machine in tvclient configuration and click ok, it hangs.)
I've disabled the firewall on both machines and I can't see what else would be getting in the way. Have I missed something fundamental? It seems like it just can't even connect to the server.

Oh, now I see it says "connected to tvserver. unable to connect to database."
What do I need to do to make this work?
