Has DVB-C scanning changed in 1.0.2? (1 Viewer)

Only asking as after an upgrade to 1.0.2 evrything seemed to be working OK, then i did some stuff and re-scanned all the channels on DVB-C then i was unable to view any channels.

Both MP and preview from setup came up with unable to start graph errors on DVB-C channels FTA or encrypted.

After a complete uninstall of everything and reinstall from scratch of 1.0.2 still the same error!

Getting a bit annoyed and scratching for ideas I imported a channel list i had from an earlier version - 1.0.1 i think and all the channels were fine!

So my question is what has changed from 1.0.1 to 1.0.2 and why do the channels not tune any more?

Unfortunately the only log i have is an extract from the TV.LOG all the others got removed when i re-installed. I could probably re-produce by doing a scan to update the channels again i suppose if needed but the log is:

Yes - I increased the PMT timeout from 10 seconds afetr seeing the error messages - it made no difference. CAM is irreleavant as i also tried without the CAM on FTA and encrypted and still the smae errors!..

please disable CAM in the edit func of the "cards" section in SetupTv and test again with FTA channels.

I did!

After a complete re-install of 1.0.2 i scanned for the channels and got unable to start graph on the FTA channels as well - this was a completely default fresh install, no CAM set up at all yet!

Everythng i tried wouldnt sort ot until i imported an exisitng channel export file from an earlier version.

I am having the exact same trouble, It picks the channels up then updates them later in the scan, looks like a virgin attempt to stop transponder scanning from non virgin boxes (even if we do use legal cams)

For example it says 10 new 0 updates
then if you click tv channels and preview it will work, however once the next transponder is done it says 10 new 10 updates, it updates the 10 from the first transponder to make your pc think they are opn a transponder that they are not.
Click channels again and preview and you get no channel

I am not sure if you can disable updating channels once the scan finds them, this would do the trick?

In my case, when i was using MP 1.0.0 all channels from my provider were found (105 channels, UPC Slovenia), but then i switched to MP 1.0.2 and now only 85 channels can be find. When scanning, on some frequences signal strenght drops dramaticaly and none channels can be found. So 20 channels in MP 1.0.2 less for me.

My DVB-C card is Terratec Cinergy C PCI HD CI

I dont think it is related to UK users only - there are other posts regarding channels being found then updated during an initial scan.

chemelli - any news on this - it is stopping me findng any new channels or i will have to go back to 1.0.1 which doesnt make sense?
