Hauppage HVR-1300 Analog part...? (1 Viewer)

Hi everybody.

I want to know if anybody tried the analog part of the Hauppauge HVR-1300 (FM Radio and Analog channels) on the new MP 1.0 RC1...

I had the Hauppage digital part working in my Home Server without problem, but I remember some issues with the analog part, so if someone had tryed this, I would be very pleased to read his comments.

I have the HVR-2200 and it is not working in the MP tv-server RC1 or the TVengine2. I'm realy hoping this will be fixed soon! The HVR-2200 is marked as the best buy on many sites at this moment. I'm guessing the HVR-1300 and HVR-2200 use the same chip, but the 130 version has a singe hybride tuner and the 2200 version a dual tuner.


edit: It seems like the only option to be able to use this card will be to install Windows XP MCE of Vsita MCE...?! Am I correct, or is there other software I could try?

Both the 1300 and the 2200 have hardware encoding for the analog part of the card, and like Bram mentioned the 2200 is the dual tuner version of the card.
I also have the 2200, and can't use the analog part in MP (TvServer). The digital part of the card works like a dream, and is the best card I have in my system.

There is obviously a problem between MP (TvServer) and the Hauppauge HVR 1300/2200. I think it's about time to get one of the dev's involved.

I have a HVR 1300 here and the analog part running without (card related) problems.

And I read (a while ago) that a dev (don't know who) has also a 1300...

I have never been able to get the HVR-1300 Analog part working with tv-server. It however works great with TVE2.

If the dev need anything logs or, then i will happily provide some.

I've read the TVE2 doesn't support hybride cards. I've tried it and in my case it doesn't work.
I've done a fresh windows installation twice and tried several different drivers and codecs.

I have an Hauppauge HVR-1300 and analog (as digital) is working perfectly in TvServer.
Did you set it up as a hybrid card?
Otherwise there could be problems switching from digital to analog (it has only 1 tuner).
