Read the wiki: it seems to me there's a specific topic dedicated to hybrid cards.

But there is no difference in the results. I'm still getting the same error.

Don't know how to help you.
My card has always worked perfectly in Mediaportal (Tv2) and TvServer.
Maybe you can try with hcwclear and the new 4.4 CD from hauppauge.co.uk.

I'm not quite sure what you're trying to say there... All I see are question marks.

sdf: The 4.4 cd didn't seem to support my card (it is not on the list of supported cards with that CD). I did a driver install anyway and my card was detected. Now I can use WinTV2000 with my card. With that app all works as expected. But still no luck with the TVserver. I haven't tried TVE2 because I have no use for it. I want to stream TV to my XBOX with the server.

Ill just say that it's not just that card, mine will not work with analogue ether. (I have already done 3 or 4 full bug reports before, though none got a reply)

just a quick look on some of the reported posts/logs and I found:

20-10-2007 14:29:26 CMultiWriterFileSink::create file:C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server\live5-0.ts.tsbuffer failed

I suggest you to put the timeshifting and recording directory out of c:\Program Files ( this is now a default on new clean installations ).

Test again and attach all TV-Server logs.
