For my information, could you give you're driver version ?
I have found a newer. My actual is 2.2.58.22194 from july 12 2004
Apparently, there is a version 2.2.73.23063...

I'm also using 23178 and also had the problem with 23039. Also, with GB-PVR I check the tuner's settings and it is 5 Mbps. It's as is media portal is off by a decimal place.

Not an urgent thing for me to have them as you both have the problem with the up to date driver.

Frodo has one, I'll bring it to his attention as it looks the the integer for the bitrate is being set incorrectly here.

Different Hauppauge cards set this differently whether they're IVAC15 or 16 based.

I had a problem with my win tv pvr usb2. it is solved now.

Had stuttering pic and sound, pic freezes after 5 sec.
everything ran smoothly before.

atm i am still on cvs from approximately june, 28. everything runs fine again.
i reinstalled the hauppauge driver (official one/two weeks ago).
After doing so, everything was ok again.
