No, see post #4 in this topic. I got rid of this piece of... hardware and I am happy now with my Technisat Cablestar HD2 PCI.

I try to get hold of b0ssman, somehow it looks like he's got it working.. Wonder how he did it.. I have tried with other drivers too. On driver i got DVB-C showing in MP, but than the card shut down when windows booted.. (little blue lamp was turned of) and MP hang under config.

Other programs like GB-PVR i think, seems to have a ini file that can be edited. I cant find any file to edit in MP.

Hopefully we get lucky and someone who got it up and working on DVB-C stumbles in here and give us a clue..

I had this problem too. Just download the newest driver, only available on the german Hauppauge Site. Press the link "Treiber für HVR 930c" and you're home free.;)

DVB-T, DVB-C and analog tuner now shows in mediaportal.

I have tried that driver, but first of all the light in the usbcard shuts down under boot. And as the others, my MP freezes under DVB-C scan

What os do U use Rodoga? If XP? u got SP3 in? Did u do anything spesial or did it just come up and working??

I use Vista and everything worked fine after installation.
First i Installed WinTV cd 4.8 full install then replaced the drivers with the new ones.
Had some problems uninstalled everything and the extracted the WinTVCD4.8 and replaced the drivers on the CD before installing. Then I did a full install and it worked. It shouldn't really matter but for me it did.

Made a complete reinstall of mediaportal 1.0 when i was done.

My only problem is the quality on the analog part. I can't change the settings in the MPEG encoder to increase bitrate. Any hints?

    I use DVB-C and analog.

Hmm, I will have to try that on my HTPC. Problem for me is that I want to run the TV-server on my WHS machine and that is based on Windows server 2003 so Vista support won't really help me alot here. :(

I've tried 3 different drivers no but no luck so far.

You should get a pci based dvb card zeeke, i use the USB one couse i dont have a PCI spot free.. But i recon there is a lot more support on the pci cards than USB.. Are you gonna run it with cam too?
