[no Bug] Hauppauge WinTV Nova-S Plus fails (1 Viewer)

Success at last. I was missing the VC2010 redistributables. In addition to that, a full reinstall was necessary. Now everything is working fine.

I did not have to switch tswriter.ax for mm1352000's version. Also there was no WinTV related service running, so I can confirm that it is safe to install "drivers only" from the current WinTV distribution.

How did you update to miss this? The installer should have installed VC2010 redist.

I was a bit surprised too, but apparently it did not. I had to install it manually. Funny thing, some things work and some don't - tvserver starts and then some component fails. But it was clearly reproducable. Before installing vc2010 redist, regsvr32 tswriter.ax gave an error (dll could not be loaded or something), after then it was ok.
