I got MP 1.0 RC3 installed very quickly with my Hauppauge WinTV-PVR-USB2. My S-video stream is working on SVHS as I have found out from other posts. This was the only problem I ran across during initial setup. For those of you that are installing and run across this: Use SVHS for S-video and CVBS for Composite connection. For everything else, the manual works great!

The Hauppauge WinTV-PVR-USB2 has a built in IR blaster that is also connected via the same USB connection as the Hauppauge WinTV-PVR-USB2 itself. I have read posts for the last 4 hours and can't seem to make heads or tails on what to do to make it work.

1. I have tried installing the IR Server Suite. But what do I choose? USB-UIRT?
2. I installed the IR drivers from Hauppauge, was this a mistake?
3. How do I set it up inside the MP server? Do I have to enable that plugin called Server Blaster?
4. What is the best way to test for operation during setup?
