I'm running out of ideas - anyone else running MP on a Gxxx CPU ?

If you attach a short HDTV recording (10-20 sec maybe) I'll try it out just to check the file plays OK on other hardware....

The server side seems relatively clean except for this:

Never seen that before but I suspect it doesn't have impact here.

@JoeF: please attempt to reproduce the problem with MD disabled if you have FTA HD sources. To do this, rename your plugins folder and restart the TV service.

do you mean rename the plugins folder in tv server directory or mediaportal itself? i tried mp itself but it failed to start and created its own plugin folder?

i did a 10-20 sec recoding which is about 230mb but when i try to upload it does not see it :s

230 MBytes sounds quite large for 20 seconds of recording - I would expect it to be about 20-25 MBytes i.e. about 1 MByte/sec for H264 HDTV ?

There is a size limit on attachments (I think it's approx 20 MBytes, but I'm not certain)

thanks alot. worked a treat. I have uploaded a small clip. Playing it through WMP seems to be nothing wrong with it :s hmmmm[DOUBLEPOST=1351628241][/DOUBLEPOST]Also, just did the same with sky sports 1 hd and it works flawlessly once recorded

Hi Joe,

Just out of interest, have you tried using the Microsoft DTV decoder?

I know there's been quite a lot of discussion about Intel's "non-standard" DXVA implementation in the LAV forum but it seems to work OK with the MS decoder.........

Probably not your problem as Tony and MM are looking deeper but might be worth a shot.

Hi Wo0zy,

I have indeed tried ever decoder possible in the configuration settings with the codecs option. All report similar issues and none play flawlessly.

Its a strange one as ive just said, WMP plays a recorded program perfectly yet play the recorded program in mediaportal and it stutters again.
