Help diagnosing "no sound" with media contains MP3 audio (1 Viewer)

All of a sudden I can not hear sound on Media (My Video or My Music) that contain MP3 audio. If I try to play a file with DTS or DD I can hear fine.

I have tried playing the same files from with-in Windows Media Player and I can hear the sound. I have installed GraphStudio and with attached pictures of the same file playing through WMP and MP. Im not sure what I should be looking at as this is the first time using it.

Please help diagnose this issue.

Do the graphs indicate anything wrong when playing in MediaPortal? It seems to follow the same path as Windows Media Player for Audio and it works fine there.

Is there something that might not be registered correctly in MediaPortal?

I'm no pro or anything, but I don't see anything unusual with the graphs. It's gotta be something with the MediaPortal configs, since you say it works in WMP but not MePo. Have you tried playing around under MePo Config -> Videos -> Video Player?

I have tried selecting different Audio Decoders and Audio Renderers but no luck. What is strange is that there were no changes as far as Im aware from when it was working and when it stopped. Im going to try a full uninstall of MediaPortal this weekend but prefered I didnt, it would be good to understand why this is happening so if I encounter it again I can fix it or prevent it from happening.
