The Windup: I have a lot of sports games and I watch them using TV Series. I have version 3.0.3 and everything is going well. I have gone into the database and added graphics and details for each of the 50+ games I have so far.

The Pitch: I get new games on a regular basis and all goes well when TV Series auto scans and adds the games. I just have to into the DB at some point and add graphics and info.

A Swing and a Miss: The problem is when I import from the back end. Whenever I run the importer for anything, sports, sitcoms, drama.... it imports all the new files but also deletes all custom info and graphics out of the database for all my sports games.

A Swing and a Miss: I have all my sports on 'Ignore on Scan' and this does not help.

A Swing and a Miss: I have tried with fresh new databases and set everything back up again, only to have the issue resurface.

As you can see I have struck out! I really could use some help, if only in understanding the issue better!

Thanks in advance and I hope you have enjoyed my way of presenting my problem =)

    Oh! And.... GO TEXAS RANGERS!!!!!

So the problem is that data u manually manipulate in the db doesn't stick? Well, the plugin makes no guarantees to do so, so your pretty much on your own.

But I'm not sure what u mean by "windup" and "pitch" and all that? Does "swing and a miss" mean it sometimes work, or never, or what? I could misunderstand all this...

Inker: Sry I did not see yer post earlier.... and Ryan is right..... I was trying to bring some fun to my problem... sports analogies are not for everyone, and mine might not have been a good one at that =( But thank you VERY much for the info. I did not know that manually entered data was not going to stick... seems to be a BIG flaw, but on a small scale as very few ppl chose to do it.

Ok, well if you enter it via the config, it should stcik. When u said you enter it into the DB I thought you meant directly into the sqllite file via an external tool.

So we'll need step by step of what you do (how do you enter the graphics files for instance), and some logs of the plugin overwriting your stuff.

Inker: Yes I did enter the data in thru a DB editor. I know you can not assign graphics thru config, so I just typed everything in while I was inside putting the graphics in. So from what I am understanding, if I put all the info in via config then at least that will stick, but the graphics will not. Thanks for that, as I was unaware but as soon as you said that things started clicking and I remember (albeit vaguely) other posts from long ago about others having trouble getting things to stick. I will get the log file to you in just a few minutes.
