An issue I haven't seen mentioned, is that if I pause and resume playback I loose subtitles. This happens for both recordings and timeshifted TV. Performing a search (e.g. back 15 s) makes the subs reappear.

That's caused by the fact that subtitle filter gets reseted currently when it's paused. I'll try to see if it's possible to change that behaviour without any side effects. Althou the subtitles should reappear after some time (5-10 seconds) after resuming as the next subtitles should be arriving ("waiting" should cause the same effect as the seeking back 15 seconds in the transport stream).

I'll see if I can fix this today.

I noticed also that the waiting is not giving the subtitles back. Could you try this build and see if it fixes the pause issue? http://day2.no-ip.org/DVBSub_test_05.zip

DVBSUB_test_05 does fix the pause issue, BUT now the subtitles (more often than not) disappear when seeking never to be seen again (restarting playback of recording is necessary).

It also seems to cause stability issues (but I am a bit uncertain (experienced 1 hang and 1 crash to desktop), didn't have time to investigate further).

If you need logs or more thorough testing, let me know.

ok, I'll try to reproduce those two issues. Have you seen those missing subtitles after seeking before?

I haven't seen any crashes after fixing the hang/deadlock with TSFileSource usage. Does Windows Event Log have any info on that crash? Maybe it shows the module that was causing the crash (hopefully it's not DVBSub.ax :)

No related information in the event log, unfortunately.

I found one new bug, looks like pausing live tv causes the new subtitles to be displayed :) Maybe this is causing some of the issues you guys are seeing with the live tv.

hmpf, seems like this happened only once.

You forgot to change the number to 06 when copy-pasting the link. The should obviously be:

    http://day2.no-ip.org/DVBSub_test_06.zip

I'll test it ASAP. I have also seen some strange behavior just when using a new DVBSUB.ax - not unlike your latest report.
