Here is version07 with 7 sec hack applied as promised. Let me know if it doesn't register correctly. If so, I will make another build.

    Dear Seidelin

It registered perfectly, and it seems more stabile than version 6. However, it is still about 2 seconds late...

Just wanna say like Henrik, that the latest release (version 7) is the most stable since version 1.

When watching live TV the delay is almost the same (about 2 seconds). I have experienced no flashing subtitles - only delay.

The timing/sync works perfect when watching recorded shows though.

Keep up the good work guys!

I'll have to do more testing, but it seems that support for subtitles broke when I installed another TV-card.

When I was using only Digital Everywhere FloppyDTV DVB-C, subtitles were nearly perfect, with occasional lockups which usually weren't there when not using subtitles.

Now I installed Terratec's card, and I have only once seen quickly some subtitles, which were either way behind or ahead the picture since I couldn't make any sense out of them.

If you make a .ts recording, and play it i e.g. in VLC, does the subtitles display correctly then?

If not, then there is a problem with the recording/viewing using your Terratec card, which should be reported in an appropriate forum. If the subtitles display correctly in VLC, then you should submit your .ts to e.g. the pastebin and post a notice here (as it would then be filter related).

What I meant was that when I've two cards at the same time installed, the problem is here. If I remember correctly Terratec could show the subtitles if it is "alone" activated - same goes for Digital Everywhere. However I can't verify this, because I'm nowhere near my HTPC.. and after updating to 0.2.3.0 RC1 I think DVBSub stopped working completely even when using just one card, but maybe it is just my configuration. Have to check when I get back to home.

    Dear Seidelin

Thank you very much for the sub filter - however it seems that the filter makes MP crash when you change channels: https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/mp_crashes_changing_channel-t24428.html

    Any way around this perhaps?

Don't thank me for the subtitle filter, I have only made a trivial change to the code. The thanks should go to tourettes who has done the bulk of the work. However, he has given up on solving the hangs after weeks of trying. Ziphnor is supposedly working on solving the issues, but he lacks the time to do it.

I must confess that I am currently running MP without the filter, as the stability issues are too severe. I will temporarily enable the subtitles to watch a recording with subtitles.

A step forward would be a user interface allowing to enable/disable the filter within MP.
