Cannot get data from TV3 (Problem with last few SVNs as well).
MP (TV3 plugin) can connect no problem, but no guide data or channel groups exist. If I click "Channel" I get "No tuner cards installed".

Firewall disabled.
This is a fresh install, I've had previous TV3 servers working without issue.
I've tried connecting with MP locally as well as from 2 other computers.

No errors in TV3 log files.
MPTvClient connects and timeshifts without any issues.

I would guess that your TV client is not installed correctly.
The line "SQLiteClient: Closing database: ProgramDatabaseV4.db3" looks like the inbuilt tv database and then also, my log file contains a line "Load plugins from : C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Plugins\windows\TvPlugin.dll" that is missing in your log file.

    Try reinstalling the client.

I've tried reinstalling the client, several times and SVN versions, on 2 networked computers and the local TV3 machine. No difference.

From what you're saying it seems as if MP is loading thinking its using TV2, but it doesn't make sense that 3 separate machines would have the same issue.

I tried uninstalling MP, reinstalling 0.2.3 without SVN and installed the TV3 plugin but it made no difference. Upgraded to the latest SVN and still no change. Very odd. Really not sure where to go from here.

If you go to MP Configuration - what is the value for hostname under TV; TVClient?

Can you just double check the guide to make sure everything is setup correctly?

Hostname is set to the proper computer name. I use this name in MPTvClient and it works fine. I've also tried the IP address which made no difference.

I've gone through the TV3 guide and can't see any issues with my setup.

Nothing in logs, besides the comment "no tuner installed"

MP (TV3 plugin) can connect no problem
    That's good

Can you run MPTestool2 found in the Mediaportal folder at c\program files\team-mediaportal\mediaportal and then post the logs created from there.

Are you using mssql or mysql, i know there is one bit "allow remote connections" in the setup of both, that can get missed during install of TVServer and it's required applications.

    I'm using msSQL.
I know I've set the remote connection (TCP and Named Pipes) on SQL because I can do remote management on the DB and MPTvCLient grabs the data without issue.

    Logs attached.

    I took a look in Mediaportal.xml
For some reason I'm setup as

no

no

no

no

no

No idea why the configurator does this. Bug?

After I change WindowsPlugins and TvPlugin to "yes" it works.
If I rerun the config it resets back to "no"

    Same Here

I also get this problem. Your manual fix to the XML file also works for me. Can't explain it though...
