I notice that you are in the UK, and use DVB-T and DVB-S. Both of those provide an EPG that is broadcast with the TV signals, and which MP can receive.(1) For DVB-T, the EPG is broadcast in every MUX, so you simply need to specify the appropriate options on the "DVB EPG" panels in "MP Config".(2) For DVB-S, the TV EPG is broadcast in the form of a satellite radio channel, so you need to ensure that you include that radio channel in the ones that you receive.
