Issue 4 (Minor/Major): Very oddly, whenever I turn on my TV from standby (the actual TV) the IR receiver box for my remote becomes 'partially active'. The IR receiver light is constantly on and causes the remote not to be able to send any signal to MP. This fortunately only lasts for about 5 minutes and then works fine. I think it must be an issue with the TV??

I have this problem too. It's not every time I turn on from standby though, but more often than not. I am using a Microsoft MCE ir receiver but don't think that's particularly relevant.

One thing I did notice is that the ir receiver seems to be actually receiving some signal from somewhere - if I place my had in certain areas in front of the receiver, the light will go off as if it's blocking the signal but when I move my hand it will come on again (i.e. start receiving the phantom signal again). Is it the same with yours?

If I cover the entire receiver apart from the light, it turns off so looks like the same kind of thing yeah. Really odd, maybe its the screen warming up giving off IR light or something? I had noticed in the past that the TV was much less responsive to its own remote for the first few minutes after turning it on so maybe thats the same issue? Weird!

On Issue 1, it seems to be an issue with the hardware/MP mappings as I have now used the iPiMP remote interface on my iPhone and the green MCE button in that correctly returns MP to the home screen (NB: I can't test whether it opens MP from desktop as MP has to be running).

Any other ideas? Issue 1 is really annoying as pressing back constantly to return to the home screen is pretty irritating!

Cheers
