Hi Folks,
I have also been having this problem with MP 1.0.0, and aftere recently upgrading to 1.0.2, I still have the issue.
I do not have a solution, but I have symptoms to log with you:
- If you leave mediaportal idle, Powerscheduler (PS) will put the machine to sleep. Waking from this state never has a problem.
- If I manually put the machine to sleep, Waking from this state never has a problem.
- If PS wakes the machine up, then I think it fails to resume properly. PS wakes the machine up, and starts recording. Then the recording period finishes, and the machine is idle - it is stuck here and never goes back to sleep. If I turn on the monitor without touching anything, the screen is black. I can wiggle the mouse or hit a button, the black screen goes away and the machine then goes to sleep.
So there is something wrong with the PS wake-up-shut-down automatically here.
I am going to try the "restart MP on resume" and "S3 Hack" settings in the 1.0.2 config dialog over the next couple of days, and see what happens.
any advice appreciated!
thanks
