Hi,
I have been searching a solution to my problem / question for what seems hours on this forum, and haven't yet found a clear answer to it.
I am tempting my chance here.
I am in France and suscribed to the FreeBox offer that streams TV channels via rstp:// in a mpeg2 format. I have been trying to find a way to have MP map to it and if possible (that would be very cool) recording and time shifting.
I spent several hours with the IPTV@UT plugin to make it work, but to no avail (when the streams are fine and dandy in VLC).
I found a couple of references saying that the new TV-Server would allow to see rstp:// streams, but nothing that describes how to implement it (pratically).
I am new at this whole affair, and apologize if it's a dumb question, but I'd really like to make this work.
Thank you in advance for your answers and/or redirection towards a potential solution.
Cheers,
-nico
